On 4/07/2011, an agreement on terms of activities of the storage house was signed between «Komerk Ltd.» and «Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange Ltd.», and the signed agreement came into effect.

The Storage House – оrganisation that carries out activities of the Commodity Exchange according to the local laws and regulations, in connection with taking into custody, storage and delivery of exchange commodities, and performance of other operations, corresponding to the activities of storage house.

Functionally, the storage house defines basis of the commodity delivery in terms of territory regardless of the fact where it stays prior to conclusion of a bargain. Тhus, any participant out of 8.5 thousand auction participants, accredited on the «Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange Ltd.», can strike a bargain on the terms of handover of the goods from the exchange storage house of the «Komerk Ltd.», after obtaining in advance, from the home page of the commodity exchange, the service costs for delivery and processing of commodities.

Taking into consideration transshipment of commodities in Таllinn Harbour, the exchange storage house of the «Komerk Ltd.» is convenient for commitment of the foreign trade transactions between countries in Europe and the South-East Asia, and Black Sea region.

The main duties of the commodity exchange storage house, according to the Regulation on the commodity exchange storage houses, are as follows:

• carrying out taking into custody, distribution, storage, accountancу and delivery of exchange commodities, and carrying out other operations corresponding to the storage house activities

•  qualified performance on the due date of the obligations undertaken to bailors

• issuing of the storage house receipts

• storage of the taken into custody exchange commodities  in amounts and quality stated in  the storage house receipts

• monthly or upon the request from the commodity exchange, disclosure of information about the issued and (or) redeemed storage house receipts by email or any other available way

• notifictaion of a bailor and the commodity еxchange about changes in terms and conditions of the exchange commodities custody, and the consequent activities on issuing and redeeming of the initial storage house receipts.
